Artist Spotlight
What medium do you use the most? Which do
you enjoy using the most?
I use the digital medium the most, using Photoshop
and my trusty art tablet to paint my artworks stroke
by stroke. When drawing traditionally (i.e. on paper
with pencils, paints, etc), I prefer graphite and chalk
pastels.
What is your favorite style?
A painted, highly rendered look with lots of de-
tail. My chalk pastel work is is a little different; it
depends much more on texture and detail than a
painted style. (Above) Photo courtesy of Laney Cardenas, Grade 12.
What subject matter do you use the most?
I mostly draw animals and natural environments Have you won any awards for your artwork?
