The Chasm
By Maxwel Holloway, Grade 12
Falling deep into an unconscious suffocation,
Deeper than that of an inept relaxation.
Forced upon this enigmatic ill- lit fall,
As it is a decent, consumed in gall.
Torn down by an abrupt, quiet, lapse;
Leaving one to arise and gasp.
And if this one were to fade,
Their rest being delayed.
Drifting, they will seem,
Lost in a dream,
While feeling,
Being,
One.
