The Change in the Earth Where their beauty’s left no trace
And this world is altered.
The emissions that are released
By Maha Ahmed, Grade 10
Turn the seas into acid
It all started with a bang So the harm is increased
When life was created. And its effects are rapid.
When the animals sang, These vast waters hold
And then they waited. Many harmful emissions
For they thrived So they have to be controlled
In a world with no trouble In these harmful conditions.
But now they survive The threats we face today
In a world of rubble. Are the cause of our past
They live in the seas As our oceans rot away
But some live flying. Our future is downcast.
Others live in trees, But with a big deduction
Yet all are slowly dying. Of the plastic we use
Now this change in the earth There can be a reduction
Makes them all question In what we may lose.
What was it worth So the future can be bright
If it lead to this regression. If we make the change now.
Now animals live in a place To make things right
Taken over by these monsters We have to learn how.
