Artist Spotlight
What medium do you use the most?
I probably use ink and pen the most, but my favorite
is by far mixed media.
What is your favorite style?
I really enjoy Surrealism, Impressionism, and certain
styles of Pop Art.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired a lot by social movements, as well as my
best friend, and many elements of fashion.
Which one of your works are you most proud of?
I’m probably most proud of the stills from the little
short film I made because it translated my ideas the
best, or my still life of the bag and shoe because of
the time the line work took.
Have you won any awards for your artwork?
I’ve won awards in the LHPS Arts in April shows.
Do you have any showings of your artwork?
I got to show one of my works in a gallery downtown
in a student exhibition last winter.
Who is your favorite artist?
My favorite artist is definitely either Magritte or David
Hockney.
