SAT and ACT scores are more important than most colleges are willing to
admit. However, rigor of curriculum and success in those courses remain the
leading factors in college admissions.
Having a large number of activities on a resume is not as important as excelling
in one or two areas.
A history of service within the community or work experience is a compelling
addition to your profile for college admission.
Students should research the admission requirements for their colleges of
interest prior to registering for their junior and senior year courses.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their course selections meet the
eligibility requirements for Bright Futures and NCAA.
